Australian property developer AYMCI released survey results and found the top 3 property non-negotiables for Australian home buyers. Well, surprise surprise location is at the top of the list (83%), followed by spacious rooms (66%) and lifestyle amenities (61%).
It is important that the location is right for the price as we want to live in a location that offers community and easy access to the amenities of their lifestyle. This, of course, makes sense, buying a home or apartment is the biggest invest someone will likely make in their lifetime.
Interestingly enough the survey found the location is more important to those over 65 and younger buyers under 24 years old. The under 24-year-olds prefer a large balcony or terrace.
Another surprising bit of information is to 35% of men that it’s important that the home has a large bathroom and a designer bath compared to 29% of women. This could just be men making sure their significant other is happy, maybe we are getting smarter.
The survey was conducted by independent global insight company YouGov on behalf of AYMCI. It was completed online by 1,032 adults in August 2017. Original article
