Frequently ask questions

How do I enrol and pay?

The easiest way to enrol in one of our real estate training courses is via our online enrolment system directly through the website.

There are a number of payment options:

  1. Credit Card: VISA / Mastercard / American Express through the website
  2. Invoice: If you choose this option when enrolling (you will need to contact the office directly), you will be provided with an invoice for payment to complete your enrolment. Please note, until the funds are received, your course will not be confirmed and your login details will not be sent out to you. Please allow 48 hours for payments to clear.
  3. Paypal
  4. Humm
How do I get a refund?

All refund requests must be made in writing to info@reaa.com.au.

For the Refund Policy, please see the REAA Student Handbook

Do you offer RPL?

We offer course credits for units of competency that you have previously completed in the course, so you do not need to repeat the unit of competency. You must provide an official qualification with these units to gain credit, and the unit code must match exactly, e.g., if you have previously completed CPPREP4001, you will get credit for CPPREP4001. RPL is a separate process from Credit Transfer and is assessed based on work experience in the relevant field.

When do I need to make payment for the course?

All course payments are upfront (up to $1500.00), upon enrolment. When you go through the enrolment process on the website you will be able to pay with either VISA, Mastercard, PayPal or Humm.

Are your courses nationally accredited and recognised?

Yes. Real Estate Academy Australia is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO No. 32426) delivering nationally accredited courses.

Are your courses nationally accredited and recognised?
What is a Unique Student Identifier? (USI)

Before you get started, you will need to know your Unique Student Identifier or USI. The USI is a unique number issued by the Australian government and allocated to you to keep track of all your nationally recognised training activities. It is a requirement that we collect this information from you so your courses with REAA can be added to your training record.

Creating a USI is free. It creates a secure online record of your nationally recognised training that you can access anytime and anywhere, and it’s yours for life.

If you don’t have a USI, or have forgotten your USI, please click here to register or recover it. To create your USI you will need one form of ID from the following; Driver’s Licence, Medicare Card, Australian Passport, Visa (with Non-Australian Passport) for international students, Birth Certificate (Australian)

*please note a Birth Certificate extract is not sufficient, Certificate Of Registration By Descent, Citizenship Certificate, ImmiCard.

You will not be able to commence your training until you have provided your USI.

Are there any pre-course requirements before commencing your real estate qualification?

Prior to accessing the course content and assessment you will be required to complete a pre-enrolment assessment within your student portal which is compulsory for all students.

Each state has its requirements for applying through them afterwards, e.g., being over the age of 18 and being a fit and proper person. We encourage students to ensure their eligibility with their state’s government before enrolling.

How quickly will my work be graded?

While you are completing the course, your work will be graded by the assessors on rotation, which will vary depending on the volume of submissions. Please note that the time taken to grade your work as you submit it will vary, and there are no set time limits for this.

Once you have completed the entire course, submitted all assessment tasks, and activated your grading (as per the instructions in your course), all of your assessments will be graded within the set turnaround time. Please refer to the Grading Policy located in the Student Handbook.

Alternatively, you can purchase Priority Grading to speed up this process.

What if I submit an incorrect answer?

Each student is granted three (3) attempts to submit each assessment for a specific unit of competency.

At the discretion of the RTO, further attempts beyond the third attempt may be provided. Requests for additional attempts will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Students must submit a written request for an additional attempt as outlined in the Student Handbook.

Can I use my Certificate or Licence in another state or territory?

Each state has their own real estate agent training requirements so you cannot automatically work interstate. You may be able to apply for mutual recognition but you will need to contact the state Governing Body to determine if you are eligible to act as a licensed real estate agent.
