Do you already have your 12 units completed from the Registration Certificate Course? This course allows you to take your Registration Certificate units (from the CPP41419 package) and complete the remaining units to gain the qualification required to apply for a Full Real Estate Licence with QLD Office of Fair Trading.
The Full Real Estate Licence qualification is required to be able to apply to the QLD Office of Fair Trading for a Full Real Estate Licence. Licence holders can own and operate their own agencies and be the Principal Licensee in Charge. Additionally, they are able to manage apartment complexes and sell any units independently and operate a trust account.
As part of this course, you will have access to 7 units of competency from the CPP41419 training package.

Before you Apply…
To complete an REAA course, you will need:
- a laptop or desktop (Mac or Windows computers are both compatible)
- the latest version of Adobe Reader (currently Adobe Reader DC) and Microsoft Word
- internet access so you can finish the assessments via the online learning platform (Google chrome internet browser is recommended)
- Ensure you have completed the QLD Registration Certificate Course 12 units of competency from CPP41419 training package*
- video recording device (phone, laptop, etc)
Do I have to complete role plays in this course?
Yes, completing the role plays is a mandatory part of this course. They are required to demonstrate your competence in line with the unit of competency. The role plays are designed to simulate real-world interactions in the real estate industry, and submitting them is essential to be deemed competent in the course.
These role plays are intended to prepare you for real-world interactions in real estate. Role plays will be a routine requirement when working in the industry and part of your ongoing professional development. If you’re unable to complete the role plays in person with another person, you have the option to perform them via video platforms like Zoom. You can complete the role plays with a friend, family member or even purchase one-on-one assisted role play sessions via the REAA website.
Once you apply for the QLD Upgrade to Full Licence course with REAA, you will receive a confirmation email and login details to access your course. If you cannot locate these please check your junk/spam folder and following this, email through to info@reaa.com.au.
*Please note that if you have not previously completed these units then you will be unable to apply to QLD Office of Fair Trading for a Full Licence Certificate as you will not have completed the 19 units of competency required.
Note: ALL students are required to obtain a UNIQUE STUDENT IDENTIFIER (USI). Your Statement of Attainment cannot be issued if you have not provided us with your USI. For more information, or to apply for your USI, visit www.usi.gov.au.
The Course…
You have up to 6 months to complete the course. As it is an online and completely self-paced course you can work through the content and assessment within your own time and at your own pace within this time frame. The course consists of assessment tasks, questions, and video role plays.
All units of competency and course content are nationally accredited and recognised by the QLD Office of Fair Trading.
Upon Completion…
Once you have completed and submitted all of your course assessments you will be asked to activate your grading. From here, your assessments will be marked by REAA’s assessing team and when deemed satisfactory in all assessments we will verify your account and you will receive your Statement of Attainment. Following this, you are required to apply directly to QLD Office of Fair Trading.
