The Diploma of Property (Agency Management) qualification conforms with the requirements set by the Government of Victoria Consumer Affairs for qualification requirements for persons wishing to apply for an estate agent’s licence. It is a requirement to hold the CPP41419 – Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice or equivalent qualification, and have the required experience before completing the diploma qualification. As part of this course, you will be provided with 12 units of competency from the CPP51122 training package.
In line with the Australian Qualifications Framework you receive 12 months to complete the CPP51122 Diploma of Property (Agency Management) qualification. The course is delivered online and the units of competency are provided to be completed in sequential order. Each unit will become available once the previous units has been completed in full and deemed competent.
Before you Apply…
To complete an REAA course, you will need:
- a laptop or desktop (Mac or Windows computers are both compatible)
- the latest version of Adobe Reader (currently Adobe Reader DC) and Microsoft Word
- internet access so you can finish the assessments via the online learning platform (Google chrome internet browser recommended)
- video recording device (phone, laptop, etc)
Once you apply for the CPP51122 Diploma of Property (Agency Management) course with REAA, you will receive a confirmation email and login details to access your course. If you cannot locate these please check your junk/spam folder and following this, email through to firstname.lastname@example.org.

You have up to 12 months to complete the course. As it is an online and completely self-paced course you can work through the content and assessment within your own time and at your own pace within this time frame. The course consists of assessment tasks, questions, and video role plays.
All units of competency and course content are nationally accredited and recognised by the VIC Consumer Affairs.
Once you have completed and submitted all of your course assessments you will be asked to activate your grading. From here, your assessments will be marked by REAA’s assessing team and when deemed satisfactory in all assessments we will verify your account and you will receive your CPP51122 Diploma of Property (Agency Management) qualification from REAA. Following this, when you gain employment, your employer is required to verify that you are eligible to be an agent’s representative and notify the Business Licensing Authority (BLA) on your behalf.
