The WA Unrestricted Real Estate Registration Course allows you to have the flexibility to perform both sales and property management transactions. This gives you the option to engage in residential or commercial sales, property management, business broking or any other real estate career in Western Australia.
As part of this course, you will be required to access and completed 18 units of competency that form the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice. All units of competency and course content are nationally accredited, in compliance with the Real Estate and Business Agents Act 1978 and recognized by Consumer Protection. Upon completion you will be issued with a Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice (CPP41419).
When completing this course, you will be provided with online learning guides, sample documents, links to useful information and legislation, additional resources, as well as email assistance with our trainers through the student portal.
There are assessment tasks within each unit to let the student demonstrate knowledge and to ensure competency.
Before you Apply…
To complete an REAA course, you will need:
- a laptop or desktop (Mac or Windows computers are both compatible)
- the latest version of Adobe Reader (currently Adobe Reader DC) and Microsoft Word
- internet access so you can finish the assessments via the online learning platform (Google Chrome Internet browser is recommended)
- video recording device (webcam,phone, laptop, etc)
Do I have to complete role plays in this course?
Yes, completing the role plays is a mandatory part of this course. They are required to demonstrate your competence in line with the unit of competency. The role plays are designed to simulate real-world interactions in the real estate industry, and submitting them is essential to be deemed competent in the course.
These role plays are intended to prepare you for real-world interactions in real estate. Role plays will be a routine requirement when working in the industry and part of your ongoing professional development. If you’re unable to complete the role plays in person with another person, you have the option to perform them via video platforms like Zoom. You can complete the role plays with a friend, family member or even purchase one-on-one assisted role play sessions via the REAA website.
Once you apply for the WA Restricted Property Management Registration (CPP41419) course with REAA, you will receive a confirmation email and login details to access your course. If you cannot locate these please check your junk/spam folder and following this, email through to info@reaa.com.au.
Note: ALL students are required to obtain a UNIQUE STUDENT IDENTIFIER (USI). Your Statement of Attainment cannot be issued if you have not provided us with your USI. For more information, or to apply for your USI, visit www.usi.gov.au.
The Course…
You have up to 12 months to complete the course. As it is an online and completely self-paced course you can work through the content and assessment within your own time and at your own pace within this time frame. The course consists of a combination of project tasks, questions, and video role plays.
All units of competency and course content are nationally accredited and recognised by Consumer Protection WA.
Upon Completion…
Once you have completed and submitted all of your course assessments you will be asked to activate your grading. From here, your assessments will be marked by REAA’s assessing team and when deemed satisfactory in all assessments we will verify your account and you will receive your Statement of Attainment. Following this, you are required to apply directly to Consumer Protection for your Certificate
