Once I’ve completed this course and attained my NSW Certificate of Registration, what can I do in the real estate sector?
With your Assistant Agent Certificate (NSW), you can perform various tasks in the real estate sector under the supervision of a Class 1 Agent. You can act as an agent to negotiate real estate transactions, introduce prospective buyers or lessees to licensed agents or owners, and collect rents or provide property management services. However, you cannot sign property management agreements or legally bind the agency to an agreement – only a Class 2 or Class 1 Agent has the authority to do this.
