CPD Certification

CPD for Property Professionals

In Queensland, all property professionals holding licences or registrations—such as real estate agents, salespeople (including property managers), real property auctioneers, and resident letting agents—are now required to complete Continuing Professional Development (CPD). These CPD programs are designed to help enhance your expertise, keep you informed about industry standards, and maintain professional excellence. Staying up to date with best practices and regulatory requirements not only strengthens your skills but also builds client trust and supports the integrity of the property industry.

CPD is separate from any training you completed when first obtaining your licence or registration. Each CPD year, you must complete two approved CPD sessions to continue developing professionally and stay compliant with industry expectations. To make it easier, you can sign up for CLD reminders to receive timely updates and check your CPD year to view your current compliance status.Click here to check your CPD year.

Find your licence issue date

The issue date on your current licence or registration determines your start date. If you have multiple licences or both a licence and a registration, use the earliest date.

Check your CPD year

Your CPD year begins from your licence or registration issue date. Any CPD completed before this year won’t count towards your mandatory requirements.
